Orcastrated

The Toy Dolls' third album for Receiver Records finds the Norwich quartet doubling down on their cartoon-bright oi! energy and punk irreverence. Orcastrated balances the band’s slapstick humor and working-class grit with surprisingly tight arrangements—marching-band brass stabs punctuate stripped-down punk riffs, while vocalist Olga Guard’s deadpan delivery cuts through the noise. A cult favorite that proves oi! needn’t be humorless or heavy-handed.
