Blasting into life, dance act Lone bring a compact-but-perfectly-formed D&B thriller. This is precision timing—the nine songs total just 36 minutes—but it's all authentic intensity, probably last seen on the early ‘90s rave scene. "Backtail Was Heavy" is a lose-your-mind throbber lightened by synth tinkles at its close, "Vapour Trail" floats off into an immersive 808-fuelled higher state, and "Alpha Wheel" takes us straight back to the D&B dancefloor with transcendental ecstasy.
