Luis Vasquez’s project The Soft Moon channels Sacred Bones Records' dark industrial ethos through Criminal, a post-punk descent into paranoia and control. Vasquez layers distorted synths and brittle percussion into claustrophobic arrangements that feel less like songs than interrogation rooms—each track a different method of psychological pressure. The album’s power lies not in velocity but in its suffocating atmosphere and the way it weaponizes silence.
