10cc teams with Hi-Lights on this Dome Records EP, reworking the 1974 novelty hit into a contemporary electronic vehicle. Stripped of its cricket-match absurdism, the track gets reconstructed as a propulsive deep house workout, all filtered vocals and hypnotic loops. The EP captures that particular moment when dance music miners began raiding pop’s back catalogue for raw material—treating the familiar hook as just another texture to manipulate and stretch across four-on-the-floor rhythms.
