A Wound in Eternity

Farflung’s debut for MeteorCity Records channels the heaviness of stoner rock through a lysergic space rock lens, eight tracks of guitar-driven psych that unfold with patient, riff-obsessed intensity. Released in 2008, A Wound in Eternity establishes the band’s signature sound: massive, distorted chords suspended in reverb-drenched space, where tempo shifts and cosmic textures dissolve into meditative passages before crashing back down. MeteorCity’s roster of heavy psych acts found a natural fit with Farflung’s hypnotic approach to composition.
