About This Release

K.I.Z’s Vertigo Berlin release fuses breakbeat percussion with hip hop vocals and rock & roll aggression, creating a deliberately fractured sound that rejects genre purity. Dub’s spatial echo and delay textures coat the production, giving each track an unsettling, almost hallucinatory quality—the title translates to “vacation for the brain,” and the music delivers exactly that disorientation. A vinyl document of German hip hop’s more abrasive, experimental edge.
