Jamaica Weed Beat was one of the most popular and most quintessential of the Dynamic Sounds subsidiary labels. Although they had also released a lot of general fare, including Jamaican Festival song entries, Weed Beat mostly concentrated on Roots Reggae. Weed Beat was launched in 1976 and ended its run in the 1980s. Dynamic occasionally represses Weed Beat singles on said label.
