About

The Venture Records story started as a venture between producer/arranger Tony Camillo & businessman Cecile Barker. Tony's extensive musical background and hit record credits with Motown Records & Hot Wax/Invictus Records was a major factor in his involvement in his joint venture. Tony's successful track record for hits included his productions with Gladys Knight for Buddah and Freda Payne for Invictus. Venture's first release by Canadian duo Cheri was "Murphy's Law". It was an inmediate worldwide hit and put Venture Records on the map in a flash. Please use for the sublabel
