About
Budget classical music & catalog reissue label owned by Vanguard The label was originally launched as 'Demonstration Records' in 1955. The name was changed to 'Vanguard Everyman Classics' in 1964. According to the record company, no compromise was made with quality at any stage of their production, the music appearing uncut, despite the lower price of the records. The label was re-introduced for reissues of the Vanguard catalog sometime in the 1970's or 80's with a greenish multi-color label and yellow logo.
