Upfront Production

German publishing company, label (licensed from, produced for...), recording studio and artists collective, created in the first mid of the 80’s. Coming as a signature, Upfront Production is mainly related to the (actually from Dusseldorf-Germany, UE) artist DJ and producer, John ‘Anthony’ Taylor’s remixes, megamixes, edits, collaborations (and productions in general), the most of the time released on his own label Streetheat, which he was also the distributor in Switzerland, at the same time (Streetheat Records AG). The company is sometimes credited as ‘Upfront Productions R.E.M.I.X’, ‘Upfront Production’, or shortly ‘Upfront’ (non exhaustive list !). John Taylor is actually known as the backer of the label BCM Records, but not only !
