Series of 10 compilations made by and for the 60th anniversary of the label. All of these compilations are titled "Stax Classics" and were released on May 19th, 2017. Six titles are available through Concord: Isaac Hayes, Albert King, William Bell, Johnnie Taylor, The Staple Singers, and The Dramatics; the remaining four titles are available through Rhino: Otis Redding; Sam & Dave; Booker T. & The MGs, and Carla Thomas.
