The Sheer Group consisted of seven companies, each specialising in its own field; artist focused releases, compilation releases, dance music, online sales, live entertainment, publishing as well as a distribution company. These included Sheer Music, Sheer Sound, USM Records, Seed, 2 Feet, Muzacc (financial services), and Phat Bottom (digital distribution). Sheer Music split away from the group in 2009 and relaunched itself as . Sheer Sound was bought by the Gallo Record Company in 2014.
