Independent hip-hop label from New York City founded by DJ Whoo Kid in the mid-nineties and named after the nickname for Mid-Eastern Queens, usually Queens Village and sometimes Hollis, Queens. When 50 Cent signed with Aftermath/Shady/Interscope, Shadyville became a subsidiary of G Unit in 2003.
