German record company and label specializing in thrash and melodic speed metal, active between 1983 and 2007. For most of that time however this name was not used as a label - [l33149] and [l161255] were used instead. [l13073] as a label on releases can be found in early to mid 1980s and from 1997 onwards. Founded by [a2786596] in 1983 as an expansion of his company [l36044]. It was sold to [l133661] in 2001 and ceased all activity in 2007 due to the bankruptcy of Sanctuary. In October 2007 [l133661] including the Noise catalogue was consequently acquired by the [l38404]. Then in February 2013, [l206061] signed an agreement to purchase the [l36259] catalog from Universal, who relaunched Noise Records with a different label code (LC 23251) in 2016.
