About
Many JDC Records releases bear a stylized "JDC" logo. Most, if not all, have typeset text mentioning "JDC Records" or the company name, "JDC Records Inc." Submitters: If your vinyl pressing has "L-#####" or "S-#####" numbers etched in the matrix, mention it in the Alphanumeric Etchings discussion thread. JDC was started as a disco label in 1976 by Jim Callon and his wife Dale. In 1978, while continuing to operate the label, Callon expanded into distribution of 12" dance product.
