Four Complete Songs

Sub-label of Disneyland

About

Four Complete Songs was a series introduced by the Disneyland label in March 1972, when the label discontinued production of the 45 RPM format. It also replaced the recently discontinued Little Gem (2) series that had ended in May 1971. Releases in this series should be tagged: LP, 7", EP. Any release with the "FS" catalog number prefix, or where one would have been before 1973, can have this series added. Releases came in picture sleeves with an oval saying "Four Complete Songs" on the front. The back cover had a picture of a record with various Disney characters. On the record it said "A Disneyland Long-Playing Record Four Complete Songs". The labels were a light blue color, with the exact shade depending on the plant it was pressed at. Canadian releases were on orange or yellow labels. The first 25 titles were released when the series started in 1972, with two box sets of various selections from these first 25 releases. Three more records were released in 1973 and the series was most likely discontinued by 1975. Some of the records were reissued on 45 RPM beginning in 1975.
