Enigma Retro became a division of Enigma Records (3), the company founded by William & Wesley Hein, after it was acquired by Capitol Records in 1989. The retro label focused on reissues of some of the non-mainstream acts, licensed from such labels as Straight, Bizarre Records & Discreet.
