Caroline Australia was launched in 2013 as a label services arm of Universal Music Australia to partner with independent labels and artists for Australian and New Zealand release. Sometimes both the companies are indicated together as "Caroline/Universal Music Australia". It was announced on 13 April 2021 that Caroline Australia would be renamed (see ) as part of a worldwide rebrand by Universal Music.
