About

Bonnier Amigo Music Group was the biggest independent music company in the Nordic region. Bonnier Amigo Music Group's history dates back to 1966. This was when record label Amigo Musik was founded by brothers Per-Anders and Jan Boquist in Stockholm, Sweden. Bonnier Amigo Music Group started in 2001 as the result of the merging of the record companies Amigo and Bonnier Music. In December 2009 the management of Bonnier Amigo bought out owner Bonnier Group and subsequently renamed the company Cosmos Music Group. In early 2010 Cosmos Music Group entered a partnership with fellow Swedish indie Playground Music Scandinavia.
