French independent publisher in France, created in 2005 by Emmanuel de Buretel (ex-CEO of EMI Europe, Virgin Editions and founder of Delabel Editions) with Michel Duval (ex-CEO of Delabel Editions). Affiliated with SACEM (IPI #470529551). Domestic editorial catalogue includes Daft Punk, Vitaa, Amadou & Mariam, Thomas Dutronc and Justice (3). Because Editions, along with a group of investors, acquired Jeune Musique, created in 1967 by Claude François. Because Editions is sub-published outside France by Blue Mountain Music except in US and UK, where Because is sub-published by Concord Music Publishing.
