Ab Discophon Oy was a Finnish company founded in 1956 to represent RCA in the Finnish markets until late 1980's. (The next dealer with RCA was BMG Ariola OY.) The own label Kerberos was established in 1979. The other labels by Discophon were MCA/MCA Records, Musica (5) and Q. Since 1983 Discophon handled with Sonet, when Discophon–Sonet was owned as 50/50 from Sweden and Finland. In Sweden Sonet was sold to PolyGram in 1991. After that within 1992 Marie-Louise Höeg, Gugi Kokljuschkin, Johan "Mosse" Vikstedt, Maija Kuusi and Hans-Ove Regen sold the Finnish branch to Musiikki-Fazer. The catalog is owned by Warner Music Finland Oy since 1994.
