Suurlähettiläät was a Finnish pop/rock ensemble that operated until their dissolution in late 2011. The group’s sound blended rock instrumentation with pop sensibilities, anchored by Jussu Pöyhönen’s guitar work and vocals, supported by a robust rhythm section and a distinctive brass and woodwind arrangement featuring saxophones and trumpet.

The band’s lineup showcased a collaborative approach to composition and arrangement, with keyboardist Kaappo Karvala contributing to their textured sonic palette alongside the horn section of Kari Hurri, Petri Viitala, and Pekka Vaaherkumpu. Though rooted primarily in rock rather than electronic music, their integration of keyboards and layered arrangements reflected broader trends in contemporary Finnish pop production.
