Comprising veterans of the punk and new wave scene, the group quickly caught the attention of Mercury Records, leading to the release of two influential albums over their brief but impactful career. Their sound, characterized by synth-driven melodies and sharp, danceable rhythms, positioned them as pioneers in the crossover space between punk's raw edge and the emerging electronic dance music scene of the early '80s.
