Active since the early 1970s, Roca gained recognition as a key member of Tartesos (1972–1977), where he contributed his versatile instrumental skills to the group’s sound.

Following his time with Tartesos, Roca continued his musical journey as a member of Alameda, expanding his artistic reach and refining his approach to composition and performance across multiple instruments.
