10人祭 (10nin Matsuri) emerged as a Hello! Project Shuffle Unit in 2001, representing a collaborative experiment within Japan’s pop music landscape. The group brought together multiple vocalists for a limited-term project focused on pop-oriented dance music production.

As part of the Hello! Project ecosystem, 10人祭 contributed to the early 2000s J-pop dance scene, blending upbeat electronic production with ensemble vocal arrangements. The project exemplified the shuffle unit concept—a flexible format that allowed for creative cross-pollination among roster artists and producers.
