# AIMI

AIMI is a pioneering figure in Switzerland’s electronic music scene, instrumental in introducing techno and house music to the country during the 1980s. As one of the first DJs to broadcast live house music on Swiss radio station Couleur 3, and as resident DJ at Montreux’s Platinum Club, AIMI helped establish Switzerland as a hub for dance music culture.

A prolific producer, AIMI has released material on influential labels including Strictly Rhythm and Deconstruction. Their breakthrough single “Give You” became a landmark moment for Swiss house music, achieving global chart success in 1992 and cementing AIMI’s status as a key figure in the genre’s international expansion. AIMI has also collaborated with European house vocalist Mr. Mike as the Black & White Brothers, expanding their sonic palette beyond solo production work.
