Garrido’s career began in the early 1970s collaborating with his brother Manuel on projects including Los Soñadores, Galaxia, and Flamenco, before transitioning into full-time production and engineering work.

In 1980, Garrido co-founded Estudios Colores with his brother, a recording studio that became instrumental in shaping the Spanish music scene. The facility evolved through various iterations, establishing itself as a hub for production and engineering excellence in the region. His technical expertise and production sensibilities have contributed significantly to the development of electronic and contemporary music production in Spain.
