Superconductor was a Vancouver-based experimental music collective active in the 1990s, led by vocalist A.C. Newman (who would later gain recognition through Zumpano and The New Pornographers). The group featured a rotating lineup of musicians including Sean Elliott, Scott Gubbels, Mike Kerley, Keith Parry, and Warren Westling, creating an avant-garde sound that reflected the city’s vibrant underground music scene of the era.

The project was notable for its collaborative spirit and fluid membership, with various musicians contributing to recordings and live performances.
