Mushroom Attack was a Dutch hardcore punk ensemble from Groningen that emerged from the late 1980s underground music scene. Originally performing as Human Error before evolving through Reality Attack, the group solidified their identity as Mushroom Attack in 1990, establishing themselves within the Netherlands' punk and alternative music landscape.

Following the group’s dissolution, three members channeled their creative energy into Fleas and Lice, continuing to explore aggressive and experimental sonic territories in the Dutch underground music circuit.
