Los Angeles-based vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist known for her dynamic contributions to alternative and indie rock. Vammen's career spans multiple decades of collaborative projects, beginning with her work in The Pandoras during the 1980s before co-founding the influential punk-pop band The Muffs alongside Kim Shattuck. Her multi-instrumental approach and songwriting have been central to each project she's joined.
Beyond The Muffs, Vammen has remained active across various musical ventures, including stints with The Leaving Trains and The Coolies—a reunion project with Shattuck that rekindled their creative partnership. Most recently, she co-founded The Tigerellas in 2022 with fellow former Pandoras members, continuing her legacy of collaborative musicmaking and genre-blending arrangements that emphasize both instrumental prowess and vocal presence.
