Libido Blume emerged from Athens' vibrant underground scene in 1985, blending post-punk aesthetics with new wave sensibilities. Founded by Akis Boyatzis, Dimitris Bouroussas, and Yiannis Drenoyiannis—building on the foundation of Boyatzis' earlier project Cpt. Nefos—the group solidified their lineup with the addition of Tasos Katsaris. Their sound captured the experimental spirit of '80s and '90s European electronic music, positioning them as key figures in Greece's alternative music landscape.
