Draft King is a Japanese rock band formed in 2013 by bassist NOHANA and drummer SHIHO, both former members of the alternative rock group Stereopony. The trio—completed by guitarist MAO—developed a dynamic pop-rock sound that blends energetic instrumentation with melodic sensibilities rooted in their previous project’s legacy.

Since their formation, Draft King has maintained an active presence in Japan’s rock music scene, delivering guitar-driven arrangements and tight rhythmic foundations. The band’s lineup has evolved through various vocalists, shaping their sonic direction across multiple releases and live performances throughout their career.
